Israel Hamas War Latest News: Israel has attacked Gaza on Monday (27 May 2024), responding to attacks from Hamas. Gaza officials say at least 35 people were killed in an Israeli attack on a camp in Rafah.
The Israeli army says that it attacked a Hamas base, killing 2 people.
Gaza's Health Ministry says that a camp for displaced people was set up in Rafah where Israel attacked. At least 35 Palestinians have been killed and many injured in Israeli air strikes. Women and children are also included among the dead. At least 12 people have been killed in an attack by Israeli forces on a house in the Jabaliya al-Najlah area of northern Gaza.
Israel claimed to launch 8 rockets:
On the other hand, the Israeli Army says that it launched eight rockets from the Rafah area of southern Gaza in central Israel. EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell says that a strong Palestinian Authority is needed to bring peace in the Middle East.
