Prabhas has made a remarkable contribution of Rs. 2 crore to the Kerala Chief Minister's Relief Fund, making him the largest individual donor for this tragic event among celebrities.
Approximately 400 people were killed by landslides in Wayanad. The film industry has expressed support due to the tragic extent of the incident as rescue efforts continue and the death toll continues to rise. Although many celebrities have donated to the relief efforts, Prabhas's significant contribution stands out.
Prabhas and other notable actors from the Telugu film industry have also made remarkable contributions. Ram Charan and Allu Arjun have also expressed their support, and megastar Chiranjeevi has announced a generous donation. Allu Arjun donated Rs 25 lakhs while Chiranjeevi donated several crores of rupees.
Malayalam and Tamil film industries have also responded strongly. Mammootty and his son Dulquer Salmaan donated Rs. 50 lakhs to the relief fund, and Fahad Fazil added Rs. 25 lakhs। Suriya, Jyothika, and Karthi all donated 50 lakh rupees, demonstrating the regional film fraternities' unity.
